Out of hours and next-morning use
Evening, night and Sunday work is normal for us rather than an exception. Where a floor has to be usable first thing, we use encapsulation rather than extraction: the chemical crystallises around the soil and the next vacuum takes it away. Floors are walkable almost straight away.
Extraction gives a deeper clean and needs longer to dry, so on contract work we usually alternate: encapsulation on the regular visits, and extraction periodically on the entrances and traffic lanes, at a frequency we agree with you when the contract is set up.
Commercial carpet tiles
Commercial carpet tiles are solution-dyed nylon on a bitumen or PVC backing. They do not shrink and they take a lot of moisture, which means a heavier clean than a domestic carpet can stand. The bitumen backing is also why over-wetting a tiled floor can leave a tide mark at every joint, so passes stop short of the seams.
Loose or curling tiles get lifted, re-stuck and put back if the adhesive is still sound. We tell you which ones need replacing instead of cleaning around them.
